Swindon Steam Museum 2012

The 42 ft long Gauge 0 layout "Lowkotown Junction" included five runnning loops, with two 3-rail and one 2-rail express lines on the outside. There were also two inner freight and suburban lines, arranged to make a figure of eight.

Also exhibited were a further five layouts - Gauge 3; Gauge 1 tinplate; Gauge 0 tinplate "Neville Junction"; Gauge 0 live steam "Brumber Bridge"; and Trix-Twin. There was also an extensive static display.

Two rare original Bassett-Lowke Silver Link A4 locos 1935/6

The loco yard, including three Bassett-Lowke A4s - Silver Link 1935/6, Sir Nigel Gresley in blue (1936-9), and a factory conversion of a Sir Nigel Gresley to BR condition and green livery with valances removed.
